Wow, haven't updated this site in a while... way too lazy. Anyways, Judy introduced to me a new tool for typing chinese today.http://tools.google.com/pinyin/
This is google pinyin, which works pretty well, even for a novice like me. Though you have to know your mandarin to use it well, since there is no cantonese input option. Works pretty well, even in vista, which you can't say about njstar.
